Street Style: Bundled in Brooklyn

This whole concept of "seasonal dressing" is new for me. Before moving to New York, my temperature range varied by about 15 degrees. I only had one year-round wardrobe. Now, I have one closet filled with winter clothes, and one rack of clothes in the middle of my apartment filled with summer clothes—v. space efficient.

This past weekend, the sun decided to come out for the first time in weeks so I ventured into Brooklyn wearing only a slip dress and light coat. Note: my "heavy" coat will probably never make it on the blog because it's puffy and awkward and frankly pretty #basic.

However, what I'm quickly learning is that NYC weather moves faster than trends. As in...I wore this bundled look on Saturday—and it was 80 degrees today.

Case in point: this outfit is already out of season, but I liked the photos so I'm putting this in the universe to Pin for next Fall.
